Oasis Travel Network Launches ‘OTN Academy’ to Train a New Generation of Travel Advisors

In a significant move to onboard and empower newcomers to the industry, Oasis Travel Network (OTN) has officially launched OTN Academy. This refreshed, comprehensive training program is designed specifically for individuals with no prior experience who wish to build a career as travel advisors.
The academy offers a structured, guided curriculum developed in collaboration with major industry bodies like The Travel Institute, ASTA, and CLIA. It provides the essential education, industry access, and support needed to confidently launch a travel business. The self-paced program can be completed in roughly 60–70 hours, with advisors able to start booking travel for clients as they progress through the training.
“You don’t need experience to succeed in travel—you need the right foundation,” said Chelsea Martinez, OTN’s Member Development and Industry Engagement Manager. “OTN Academy was created to give new advisors clarity, confidence, and a realistic path forward as they enter the industry.”
OTN, which is a CLIA Hall of Fame Travel Agency of the Year for 2025, leverages its position within the prestigious Signature Travel Network. This gives graduates of the OTN Academy access to elite supplier partnerships, exclusive client amenities, and advanced marketing technology from day one. The program is open to both brand-new industry entrants and associate advisors of current OTN members.
