The Pakistan Army, in close coordination with the civil administration, has intensified rescue and relief operations in flood-hit areas of Punjab, where rising waters continue to pose a serious threat to several districts. Rescue teams are actively working in Khoolra Point, Hasu Wali, Budhwana, Jhang, and Chiniot, transporting stranded families—including women, children, and the elderly—to safer locations using boats. Alongside the evacuation of qresidents, efforts have been made to shift livestock to higher ground in order to minimize losses. With swift mobilization and constant monitoring of the situation, the Army has been able to relocate hundreds of individuals, demonstrating its readiness to act as the floods persist and conditions remain challenging for vulnerable communities.
Beyond immediate evacuation, the Pakistan Army has established multiple relief camps across the affected regions, ensuring uninterrupted provision of essential supplies such as food, clean drinking water, clothing, and medicines. Free medical camps, staffed with military doctors and paramedics, are also operational, providing much-needed emergency healthcare to flood victims. The authorities have placed rescue teams on high alert, maintaining round-the-clock operations to address any emerging crisis. Families rescued from the floodwaters expressed deep gratitude for the Army’s timely response, describing the operations as truly life-saving during a moment of immense hardship. Officials reaffirmed their commitment to continuing rescue and relief measures until full rehabilitation of
affected communities is achieved.
