Pakistan Digital Fuel System to Track Petrol Sales Nationwide
Pakistan is introducing a digital fuel system Pakistan to improve fuel monitoring across the country. The government wants better transparency and control over petrol sales. As a result, authorities will track fuel stock and sales in real time.
The system will cover more than 12,000 petrol pumps nationwide. In addition, officials have distributed 24,000 mobile devices for smooth operations. These devices will help staff record fuel data quickly and accurately.
Real-Time Monitoring and Transparency
The platform connects with OGRA’s digital system for better coordination. Therefore, authorities can track both imported and local fuel through one platform. This approach simplifies monitoring and reduces manual errors.
Officials expect the system to reduce fraud and illegal hoarding. For example, unusual stock changes will alert authorities तुरंत. As a result, teams can investigate issues without delay.
Moreover, the system aims to stop fuel smuggling across regions. Real-time tracking will highlight suspicious activity early. This will help authorities maintain better control over fuel distribution.
Fuel Quota Plan for Citizens
The government also plans to introduce a fuel quota system for citizens. Under this system, each vehicle owner may receive a fixed fuel limit. However, officials will announce full details soon.
Users will verify fuel purchases through a mobile app. Therefore, buyers will not exceed their assigned quota. This step will ensure fair fuel access for everyone.
Training sessions are ongoing at petrol pumps nationwide. The Ministry of IT, NITB, and OGRA are leading these efforts. In addition, volunteers from the Prime Minister’s Youth Program are supporting staff.
Overall, this system marks a strong move toward digital governance. It promises better efficiency, fairness, and accountability.
