PTCL Profit Growth 2026 Strong Comeback with Rs 3.1 Billion Earnings
PTCL Profit Growth 2026 marks a major turnaround for the telecom giant. The company posted Rs. 3.1 billion profit in Q1. As a result, it recovered from last year’s loss.
The group showed steady progress across services. In addition, it strengthened its role in Pakistan’s digital landscape.
Merger Boosts Growth
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority approved the merger of Ufone and Telenor Pakistan. Therefore, PTCL now controls a larger network. Earlier, the company completed Telenor’s acquisition in December 2025. As a result, integration planning moved quickly in early 2026. This move will improve service quality. It will also expand coverage and customer reach nationwide.
Financial Performance Highlights
PTCL Group revenue jumped by 58% year-on-year. This growth came from mobile, broadband, and enterprise services. Operating profit increased sharply by 564%. Moreover, Ufone and Ubank showed strong recovery. The wireline segment also performed well. For example, Flash Fiber grew by 27%, while business services rose by 11%. Meanwhile, wireless revenue surged by 131%. This increase came mainly from the merger and better performance.
5G and Digital Expansion
PTCL secured a strong position in Pakistan’s 5G spectrum auction. Therefore, it can now offer faster and more reliable services. The company acquired spectrum in the 3.5 GHz and 2.6 GHz bands. As a result, users can expect low latency and high speeds. The merged network will serve over 72 million customers. In addition, it will support new digital services across industries. PTCL also upgraded its Flash Fiber plans. Entry level speeds now start at 30 Mbps, improving user experience.
Brand and Social Impact
PTCL continued to build its brand through meaningful campaigns. For example, it partnered with Shehzad Roy on World Education Day. The campaign promoted balanced and inclusive education. As a result, the company strengthened its social connection with audiences.
