Saudi Arabia Launches Package Visa Pilot with Flights and Hotels

Saudi Arabia has launched a new Package Visa pilot programme. The initiative combines flights, hotels, and tourist entry together. Eligible visitors can book everything through a single integrated platform. The move aims to simplify travel planning significantly. The service is currently available in seven selected countries .

How the Package Visa Works

Travelers can book return airfare and accommodation through approved providers. The electronic tourist visa processing is included in the package . Visitors can also add cultural experiences and entertainment events. The service eliminates the need for separate visa applications .
The pilot programme covers India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, and Mexico . Package prices start from SAR 4,000 . The minimum stay requirement is two days. Each booking can accommodate up to 14 travelers .

Official Statements and Tourism Growth

Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khateeb called the initiative a step towards seamless travel . He said it empowers travel partners and simplifies visitor journeys. The programme strengthens collaboration with private travel operators .
The Package Visa builds on recent tourism reforms. These include electronic tourist visas and visa-on-arrival options . Saudi Arabia welcomed more than 29 million international visitors in 2025 . The kingdom aims to become a leading global destination under Vision 2030 .
