Saudia Launches Direct Riyadh–Moscow Flights

Saudia has officially launched its first direct flight from Riyadh to Moscow, marking a new era in Saudi–Russia relations. The new route expands travel options and strengthens cooperation between both nations. Saudia Riyadh Moscow flights also align with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to enhance tourism and global connectivity.

A Step Toward Stronger Ties

The inaugural flight took off from King Khalid International Airport with top Saudi and Russian officials in attendance. The event highlighted the growing friendship between the two countries.
The collaboration involves the Saudi Tourism Authority and the Air Connectivity Program. Together, they aim to make international travel smoother and attract more visitors to the Kingdom.
Upon arrival in Moscow, Sheremetyevo International Airport greeted the flight with a traditional water salute. Saudi and Russian ambassadors led the welcoming ceremony, celebrating a historic milestone in aviation.

Boosting Tourism and Global Access

This new route provides a direct link for pilgrims, tourists, and business travelers. It also supports Saudi Arabia’s aviation goal of connecting the Kingdom to over 250 destinations. As a result, both nations can look forward to greater cultural and economic collaboration.
Saudia’s Boeing 787-10 carried the inaugural passengers, showcasing the airline’s modern fleet and commitment to passenger comfort. The aircraft’s fuel efficiency and advanced design reflect Saudia’s dedication to sustainability.
The airline will operate three weekly flights between Riyadh and Moscow. This move will open more travel opportunities across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Saudia continues to strengthen global connections and promote cross-cultural understanding. These new Saudia Riyadh Moscow flights symbolize progress, partnership, and a shared vision for a connected world.
