Soldier Dies After Falling from Horse at Royal Windsor Horse Show
A soldier has died after falling from their horse. The accident happened at the Royal Windsor Horse Show on Friday. Thames Valley Police confirmed the death.
A Tragic Accident
The service person was part of the King’s Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. They fell at around 19:00 BST after leaving the arena. They received immediate medical treatment. However, they sustained serious injuries and died at the scene.
Police Investigation
The police said they are treating the death as “unexplained but non-suspicious”. No further details have been released.

The King was “shocked and saddened” to learn about the death. A Buckingham Palace spokesperson confirmed this. The King will be in touch with the family to share his personal condolences.
