Student Education Minister Leads Punjab Office on World Children’s Day

Punjab celebrated World Children’s Day with a unique activity. The province appointed a student education minister for one day. This gesture aimed to highlight children’s voices in public decision-making.
Abuzar, a bright student from Nankana Sahib, earned this honour. He secured the top position in his 10th-grade exams. As a result, officials welcomed him warmly when he arrived with full protocol.

A Day Inside the Education Office

Abuzar stepped into the role with confidence. He attended meetings and reviewed several education matters. In addition, he received briefings about school facilities across the province.
He discussed important issues with officials. For example, he focused on scholarship schemes and fee waivers for underprivileged learners. He also talked about transportation support for teachers. His ideas showed a clear understanding of everyday challenges in education.

Sharing His Experience With the Media

Abuzar also took part in a press conference. He shared his thoughts about leading the department for a day. He said the job demands care, focus, and responsibility. However, he added that such opportunities inspire students to think about leadership roles in the future.
The activity created excitement among teachers and students. It also encouraged meaningful conversations about inclusion and equal access to education. Therefore, many appreciated this symbolic but powerful initiative.
World Children’s Day became more engaging through this experience. It reminded everyone that young people bring fresh ideas and strong energy. Their contributions can guide better planning in schools. The one-day leadership experience gave Abuzar a chance to learn, observe, and inspire others.
