TikToBibury has seen a dramatic surge in visitors, especially from day-trip tourists arriving via coaches, many driven by viral TikTok and social media posts

Craig Chapman, chairman of Bibury Parish Council, said the influx had become “intolerable and unacceptable”, citing chaotic coach traffic and unsafe conditions in narrow streets .

Plans are underway to restrict coach access, including redesigning coach parking bays and potentially banning coach drop-offs in the village centre—pending ongoing consultation and legal review .
