TikTok Apple Music Feature Brings Full Songs to the App
TikTok has introduced a new TikTok Apple Music feature for music fans. The update allows users to play full songs without leaving the app.
The feature works for subscribers of Apple Music. When users discover a song on their “For You” feed, they can tap a new Play Full Song button.
This option opens a built-in Apple Music player. As a result, listeners can enjoy the entire track instantly. TikTok says the update makes music discovery smoother. Users can move from a short clip to a full listening experience within seconds.
Interestingly, the feature does not support other streaming services. For example, subscribers of Spotify cannot play full tracks directly from TikTok.
Listening Party Adds Real-Time Fan Interaction
Alongside the TikTok Apple Music feature, the companies are launching a new social tool called Listening Party. This feature lets fans listen to songs together in real time. Participants can also interact with artists during the session. Therefore, the experience becomes more social than traditional streaming. Fans can share reactions and comments while listening to the same track.
The playback uses Apple’s MusicKit technology. Because of this, streams still count inside Apple Music.
TikTok continues to shape how people discover music online. Viral clips and trends often push songs to the top of streaming charts. Previously, the company even tried launching its own streaming service. However, it later shifted its focus toward music discovery instead.
Today, TikTok offers several tools for music fans. For instance, users can save tracks to their preferred music apps or share songs directly on the platform. The company also launched TikTok for Artists, a platform that helps musicians track performance data and connect with fans. The new features will roll out globally in the coming weeks. As a result, more users will soon experience seamless music discovery and listening on TikTok.
