Vietnam Transforms Rail and Expands Ireland Ties for Travel Boom

Vietnam is making major travel moves. The country transforms its railway network in central Vietnam. It also expands travel access to Ireland.
A new railway will connect Đà Nẵng, Hội An, and Chu Lai. Travel times drop to just 20 or 40 minutes. Therefore, tourism becomes faster and easier.
At the same time, Vietnam deepens ties with Ireland. More flights and study paths are coming. Cultural exchanges mark 30 years of diplomacy in 2026.

Rail Transformation in Central Vietnam

Đà Nẵng leads this bold transport vision. Thaco Group develops the railway with Hyundai Rotem from South Korea. Total investment is about $10.6 billion.
Construction begins in 2027. Full operations start in 2032. Phase one links Đà Nẵng Airport to Hội An. Phase two extends from Hội An to Chu Lai.
Consequently, daily commuting becomes much easier. Road congestion will also reduce. The railway serves both tourists and industry.
Đà Nẵng has a long-term master plan. Officials propose 11 light rail lines. Three tourism-focused routes are also planned. Therefore, the city reduces dependence on private vehicles.

Expanding Travel Access to Ireland

Vietnam and Ireland prepare for 30 years of diplomacy. Deputy Minister Le Thi Thu Hang met the Irish Ambassador in Ha Noi. The new Vietnam embassy in Dublin is a major step.
The EVIPA agreement could offer better investor protection. Ireland’s EU position strengthens Vietnam ties. Consequently, more companies will explore both markets.
More Vietnamese students are heading to Ireland. The Ireland Fellows Programme supports postgraduate studies. These exchanges create long-term community links.

Cultural and Tourism Growth

Both countries are planning cultural events. Film screenings and music performances will take place. Art exhibitions will showcase creative voices.
Irish visitors are exploring Vietnam in greater numbers. Vietnamese professionals spend more time in Ireland. Both sides promote tourism through joint events.
Ireland holds the European Council presidency in late 2026. This opens doors for deeper EU-Vietnam cooperation. Areas include trade, sustainability, and global challenges.
In conclusion, Vietnam is building for the future. Rail transformation speeds up central region travel. Ireland ties bring more flights, study paths, and cultural exchanges. Students, travelers, and businesses all benefit.
