WhatsApp Improves Chat Organization
WhatsApp unified chat lists feature is currently in development. It aims to simplify how users manage conversations. WhatsApp is testing a system to apply shared settings across chat lists. These lists help users group chats by category. For example, users can separate work and personal conversations. Right now, lists only help with organization. However, they do not offer advanced controls. Therefore, WhatsApp plans to expand their functionality. The feature will be part of a premium plan called WhatsApp Plus. This optional subscription will include extra tools for better chat management.
Unified Settings for Better Control
With WhatsApp unified chat lists, users can apply one setup to multiple chats. This saves time and reduces manual changes. For instance, users can assign a theme to an entire list. Any new chat added will follow the same design automatically. In addition, notification tones and call ringtones can match the list settings. This means users can quickly identify messages from specific groups. As a result, managing conversations becomes more efficient.
The Feature Also Builds on Earlier Updates.
WhatsApp has already tested options like pinning up to 20 chats. These improvements show a focus on flexibility.
However, WhatsApp Plus will remain optional. Users who do not subscribe will still access standard features without changes. Currently, the feature is under development and not available for testing. Once ready, it will roll out gradually to beta users. Overall, WhatsApp unified chat lists could enhance user experience. It offers better control, consistency, and organization across chats.
