Where Winds Meet Wuxia RPG launches worldwide today as a groundbreaking free-to-play open-world adventure. This ambitious Where Winds Meet Wuxia RPG represents the world’s first original Wuxia-themed open-world action RPG, developed by Everstone Studio and published by NetEase Games. The game arrives on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Epic Games Store with full cross-play and cross-progression support across all platforms. Set in 10th-century China during the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, players become wandering sword masters forging their legends in a beautifully realized martial arts world. The developers emphasize no pay-to-win mechanics, ensuring fair gameplay for all participants.

Massive World and Character Progression

Where Winds Meet Wuxia RPG features an intricately crafted open world with over 20 distinct regions to explore. The game harmoniously blends historical elements with traditional Wuxia imagination, creating an immersive martial arts experience. Players encounter more than 10,000 unique NPCs, each possessing individual personalities and dynamic responses to player actions. These interactions allow players to build relationships that transform characters into trusted allies or sworn enemies based on conversational choices and moral decisions.
The combat system offers deep martial arts customization with over 40 unique Martial Mystic Arts to master. Players wield diverse weapons including Spears, Swords, Dual Blades, Glaive, Umbrella, and Fans while unlocking distinctive skills like Acupuncture Hitting, Lion’s Roar, Merciful Picking, and Tai Chi. This extensive combat variety enables personalized fighting styles that reflect individual player preferences and strategic approaches to encounters.

Gameplay Options and Launch Rewards

Where Winds Meet Wuxia RPG provides multiple gameplay approaches through specialized job roles including doctor, merchant, assassin, and bounty hunter. Players can adventure solo as lone swordsmen or collaborate with up to four others in cooperative exploration. The game contains over 150 hours of narratively driven content alongside optional PVP battles for competitive players. Moral choices throughout the journey allow players to follow paths of righteousness or darkness, creating personalized story outcomes.
To celebrate the global launch, Everstone Studio offers substantial free rewards including over 180 cosmetics. These include 80+ outfits, 100+ accessories, and various emotes, decorations, and inscriptions available without cost. Season 1: Blade Out begins immediately, introducing seasonal content and challenges. The free-to-play model with cosmetic-only monetization establishes an accessible entry point while maintaining competitive integrity through the absence of pay-to-win mechanics.
