Xbox Game Pass Teams Up With Discord Nitro
Xbox and Discord have officially expanded their partnership through a brand-new Xbox Game Pass Starter Edition benefit for Discord Nitro subscribers. As a result, Nitro members can now access a selection of Xbox Game Pass titles alongside additional rewards, discounts, and future subscription perks without paying extra fees.
The announcement arrived through official blog posts from both Discord and Xbox. According to the companies, Discord Nitro users now receive access to more than 50 games across Xbox consoles and PC platforms. Additionally, subscribers gain 10 hours of Xbox Cloud Gaming support through the Game Pass
Starter Edition package.
The growing partnership highlights Microsoft’s continued strategy of connecting Xbox Game Pass with major online gaming communities. At the same time, Discord continues strengthening its gaming-focused subscription ecosystem through hardware discounts and platform-wide rewards. Current Game Pass Starter Edition titles include Fallout 4, Stardew Valley, Deep Rock Galactic, Grounded, DayZ, and Overcooked 2. Therefore, subscribers can immediately jump into multiplayer, survival, simulation, and co-op experiences across several genres.
Discord Nitro Adds More Gaming Benefits
Discord Nitro subscribers now receive additional hardware discounts from major gaming accessory companies. For example, Nitro users can currently access up to 30 percent discounts on Logitech G products, 15 percent discounts on SteelSeries gear, and 20 percent discounts on KontrolFreek accessories.
Moreover, Discord confirmed that these offers will rotate regularly with new promotions arriving over time. Consequently, subscribers may receive future discounts on keyboards, mice, headsets, controllers, and other gaming equipment.
The company explained that these new perks aim to help gamers upgrade their setups while encouraging stronger community engagement between platforms. Furthermore, the partnership strengthens Discord’s position as one of the largest social communication platforms in gaming.
Xbox Plans Additional Discord Rewards
Microsoft also confirmed that eligible Xbox Game Pass subscribers will soon receive Discord Nitro-related rewards later this month. Planned bonuses include monthly Discord Orbs, increased Orb earnings through Quests, and automatic discounts within the Discord Shop.
Although Microsoft has not revealed complete rollout details yet, the company promised additional information soon through Xbox Wire and social media updates. Meanwhile, both companies continue positioning subscriptions and community features as major priorities moving forward.
The partnership arrives during a major expansion phase for Xbox Game Pass as Microsoft pushes the service beyond consoles and deeper into cross-platform ecosystems.
