BISE Karachi exams begin with new system

Article:BISE Karachi exams will begin on April 29 under a revised system. Officials have introduced new rules for papers and monitoring. As a result, students should prepare for some important changes this year.

New Format and Digital Monitoring

The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Karachi has updated the exam format. Students will attempt a 30-page paper within three hours. However, they will receive a 20-page answer sheet for two-hour papers.
Officials have also launched a digital attendance monitoring system. This system will track student presence in real time. Therefore, it aims to improve transparency and reduce errors.
In addition, the board will conduct exams in phases. This approach helps manage large numbers of candidates. It also allows better organization across exam centers.

Admit Card Instructions for Students

The board has issued clear instructions for admit cards. Students who did not receive them by April 25 must act quickly. They should collect duplicate copies from the board office.
To get a duplicate admit card, candidates must bring required documents. These include the examination form and fee receipt. Moreover, they should provide a registration card or proof of submission.
Students must also carry a photocopy of their matriculation marks sheet. This step ensures smooth verification at the office. As a result, candidates can avoid last-minute issues.
Officials urged students to follow all guidelines carefully. They also advised early preparation for the new format. Meanwhile, the updated system aims to improve efficiency and fairness.
