Sindh College Admissions 2026: Nearly 39,000 Students Apply Through SECCAP
The Sindh College Education Department has continued the online admission process for first-year students across the province. Under the centralized admission system, students can submit applications only through the SECCAP portal. The department introduced the digital process to make admissions more convenient, transparent, and accessible for everyone.
According to official data, students have shown strong interest in Sindh College Admissions this year. So far, the department has received 38,895 applications for eleventh-grade admissions. Officials expect the number to increase further as the application deadline approaches.
Students can apply for admission in several academic groups. These include pre-medical, pre-engineering, general science, commerce, and arts. In addition, the online system allows applicants to complete the entire process from home without visiting colleges.
Karachi Leads in Admission Applications
The Sindh Electronic Centralized College Admission Program (SECCAP) has received applications from students across the province. However, Karachi has recorded the highest number of submissions among all regions.
According to the department, students from Karachi submitted 30,251 applications. This figure represents the majority of applications received so far. Officials believe the city’s large student population and widespread internet access have contributed to the high participation rate.
Meanwhile, students from other districts have also actively used the online portal. The department expects more applications from different regions in the coming weeks. Furthermore, officials say the digital system has simplified the admission process and reduced paperwork.
Students Urged to Meet July 14 Deadline
The Sindh College Education Department has advised students to submit their applications before the closing date. The last date for applying through the SECCAP portal is July 14.
Officials have urged applicants not to wait until the final days. Delays could create technical issues and increase pressure on the system. Therefore, students should complete their forms as early as possible.
The department remains committed to a fully digital admission process. As a result, students can apply quickly and conveniently from anywhere with internet access, ensuring a smoother start to the new academic session.
