Sauce Labs and Code.org Celebrate 10 Years of Empowering Students Through Computer Science and AI Education

San Francisco, CA – October 7, 2025 – Sauce Labs and Code.org are celebrating ten years of partnership dedicated to improving computer science and AI education for students worldwide.
Since 2015, this collaboration has helped Code.org deliver smooth, high-quality learning experiences across devices and browsers. The goal has always been clear—make computer science education accessible to every student, everywhere.
Over the past decade, Sauce Labs has powered Code.org’s testing systems with automated, cloud-based tools. These tools ensure that the platform runs flawlessly, from old school Chromebooks to the latest tablets. As a result, Code.org reduced testing time by 78%, from 90 minutes to under 20 minutes per build.
This partnership has supported daily deployments and improved accessibility for millions of learners. Code.org now reaches more than 100 million students and 3 million teachers across the globe. Nearly half of its students come from underrepresented groups, proving that diversity and inclusion remain central to its mission.
Shubha Govil, Chief Product Officer at Sauce Labs, said the collaboration shows what’s possible when education and technology align. Karim Meghji, Chief Product Officer at Code.org, added that reliable testing allows them to focus on creativity and innovation in classrooms.
This fall, the partnership will power Code.org’s Hour of AI initiative, helping students and educators explore the world of artificial intelligence together.
Through shared innovation, Sauce Labs and Code.org continue to inspire the next generation of coders, problem-solvers, and creators.
