AMMC Boosts Financial Literacy During World Investor Week 2025

The Moroccan Capital Markets Authority (AMMC) is once again joining the World Investor Week (WIW) from October 6 to 12, 2025. This marks the ninth consecutive year of its participation. The global campaign, led by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO), promotes financial literacy and smart investment decisions.
More than 100 countries take part each year. The goal is to help people understand finance better and stay safe from fraud.

Focus on Technology and Education

This year’s theme highlights digital finance tools, artificial intelligence, and ways to prevent financial fraud. The AMMC continues to show its strong commitment to educating Moroccan investors and improving their knowledge of capital markets.Since 2018, financial education has been a central focus for the AMMC. The authority believes that informed investors strengthen Morocco’s financial system and boost market development. One major achievement is the launch of the online portal “Le Marché des Capitaux pour Tous” in December 2024. The platform gathers educational guides, videos, quizzes, and simulators in one place. Its goal is simple — to make financial learning easy and accessible for everyone.

Engaging New Learners

During WIW 2025, the AMMC will unveil new educational materials. These include an updated investor guide and a brochure on the Equity Savings Plan. The authority will also host webinars, conferences, and immersion days.
In addition, AMMC will release the third edition of its comic book contest and share interactive content on social media. These efforts aim to make financial learning more fun, especially for young people.
By improving financial literacy, AMMC hopes to build a more inclusive and resilient economy where every Moroccan feels confident making smart financial choices.
