Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles Launches on July 31
Batman fans have a brand-new game to look forward to this month. Warner Bros. and Amazon Luna officially announced Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles during San Diego Comic-Con, confirming its release on July 31. The cooperative party game launches alongside Season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader, allowing fans to enjoy both experiences on the same day. With detective gameplay, iconic villains, and easy phone-based controls, the upcoming title offers a fresh way to experience Gotham City.
Co-Op Detective Action
Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles puts players in the role of detectives working alongside Batman and Detective Montoya to solve crimes across Gotham City. The game supports up to four players and features 11 episodic missions packed with investigations and villain encounters. Players will face famous Batman enemies, including The Joker, Scarecrow, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, Lynx, Music Meister, Dollmaker, and Babyface. As a result, every mission offers a different mystery while encouraging teamwork throughout the adventure.
Phone Controllers Make Multiplayer Easy
Unlike traditional multiplayer games, Batman: Caped Crusader – Chronicles lets players use their smartphones as controllers, similar to the popular Jackbox Party Pack series. Consequently, friends can quickly join the action without needing additional gaming hardware. Amazon also confirmed that the game will become available to Amazon Prime members through Amazon Luna on July 31. Furthermore, Hamish Linklater and Michelle C. Bonilla return to voice Batman and Detective Montoya, creating a stronger connection with the animated series.
Amazon Luna Expands the Batman Experience
Alongside the game’s launch, Amazon continues expanding Luna across Fire TV devices in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Players can launch the game directly after watching Season 2 of Batman: Caped Crusader on Prime Video, creating a seamless entertainment experience. Although many fans still hope for another Arkham-style adventure, this new cooperative detective game offers a unique take on Gotham’s Dark Knight.
