Hyderabad Girls School Reaches World’s Best School Prizes 2026 Top 10

A Hyderabad Girls School has earned global recognition after reaching the Top 10 in the Community Collaboration category of the World’s Best School Prizes 2026. Government Girls Lower Secondary School Tando Mir Ghulam Hussain achieved the milestone through strong community partnerships and innovative learning. The recognition places the Sindh government school among the world’s leading educational institutions.

Community Efforts Lead to Global Success

T4 Education selected the school after reviewing thousands of entries from public and private schools worldwide. An international panel evaluated schools in five award categories. These include Community Collaboration, Environmental Action, Innovation, Overcoming Adversity, and Supporting Healthy Lives.
The Hyderabad school impressed judges with its close connection to students, parents, and local residents. Teachers regularly organized awareness campaigns and invited the community to support school activities. In addition, they introduced STEAM projects that combined science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics. These practical lessons encouraged students to learn through hands-on experiences.
The school also focused on students’ personal growth alongside academic success. As a result, its community-driven model stood out during the international selection process. The achievement shows how collaboration can improve learning and create lasting educational impact.

Sindh Celebrates International Achievement

Government Girls Lower Secondary School Tando Mir Ghulam Hussain is one of only two Pakistani schools shortlisted for the 2026 awards. The second shortlisted institution is a private school from Punjab. Therefore, the recognition highlights the growing quality of education in Pakistan.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and Education Minister Syed Sardar Ali Shah congratulated the principal, teachers, students, parents, and community members. They described the achievement as a proud moment for Sindh and Pakistan. Moreover, they said the success proves that government schools can earn global recognition through innovation, teamwork, and community support.
The school has not yet won the category. However, it remains among the Top 10 finalists while T4 Education completes the judging process. Meanwhile, the shortlisted schools can also compete for the Community Choice Award through a public vote. This achievement may inspire more public schools across Pakistan to strengthen community partnerships and promote practical learning.
