Road to Liberty Exhibition Opens in Karachi for Students
A new Road to Liberty exhibition has opened in Karachi, giving Pakistani students a fresh look at US history. The digital display explores America’s founding and the ideas that shaped its 250-year journey.Lincoln Corner Karachi hosted the exhibition’s opening on Thursday. The centre operates from Liaquat Library under the US Consulate Karachi.The travelling exhibition forms part of the Founders Museum initiative. The White House created this project to mark 250 years of the United States.

It introduces important figures from American history and explains the values behind the country’s founding.Visitors can view profiles of major figures from the 16th to 18th centuries. They can also scan QR codes for more historical information on their smartphones.

He added that these principles still guide the United States today.The exhibition also offers an engaging digital experience. Road to Liberty travels across the region
EducationUSA specialists and advisers also joined the programme. They guided participants through a virtual tour of US universities named after American founding figures.This activity connects history with higher education opportunities. Students can learn about American universities while exploring important figures from the nation’s past.The travelling exhibition will visit educational and cultural institutions across the Karachi Consular District. It will reach audiences in Karachi and Hyderabad.
The exhibition will continue travelling through December 2026. Therefore, more students and educators will have opportunities to explore its digital content.Organisers hope the project encourages young people to learn more about history and civic values. It also creates opportunities for cultural and educational exchange between Pakistan and the United States.
