Saudi Package Visa Simplifies Travel for Pakistani Visitors
The Saudi Package Visa will make travel planning easier for Pakistani and other international visitors. Saudi Arabia has launched a new initiative that combines tourist visa applications with travel bookings. The Saudi Tourism Authority announced the programme to simplify the travel experience.
Eligible travellers can now apply for a tourist visa while booking a complete travel package. As a result, they no longer need to arrange visas, flights and accommodation separately. The initiative also supports Saudi Arabia’s goal of attracting more international tourists and strengthening its tourism sector.
One Booking for a Complete Travel Experience
The new Package Visa allows travellers to complete several travel requirements in one booking. They can apply for a tourist visa while reserving flights, hotels and other travel services. In addition, approved travel providers may include guided tours, entertainment events and tourism activities in the package.
Therefore, visitors can organise their entire journey through a single platform. Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al Khateeb said the initiative aims to make Saudi Arabia more accessible to tourists from around the world. He added that a simpler booking process will improve the overall visitor experience. Furthermore, the new system saves time and reduces the hassle of making multiple travel arrangements. Officials believe the initiative will encourage more people to visit the Kingdom for leisure and cultural tourism.
Benefits for Pakistani Travellers
Saudi Arabia remains one of the most popular overseas destinations for Pakistanis. Millions travel to the Kingdom every year for Hajj, Umrah, employment, business and tourism. According to Pakistan’s travel industry, the number of Pakistani travellers increased from 2.7 million in 2024 to an estimated 2.87 million in 2025.
This steady growth highlights the strong travel relationship between the two countries. Initially, Saudi authorities will offer the Package Visa through selected travel and tourism providers that meet national service standards.
These providers must also deliver 24/7 customer support. Moreover, the programme will first launch through selected international travel partners before expanding to additional markets. As a result, Pakistani travellers can expect a faster, simpler and more convenient way to plan future visits to Saudi Arabia.
