Travel Counsellors Takes Homeworkers on South Africa Fam Trip

Travel Counsellors has taken 21 homeworkers on a South Africa fam trip. The educational visit happened in partnership with Sense of Africa. South Africa Tourism supported this valuable learning experience. Agents explored the country in three separate groups. Each group followed a different itinerary across the regions.

Three Unique Itineraries

The first route covered Cape Town and the Garden Route. Agents visited Table Mountain and Cape Point. They enjoyed a safari at Pumba Private Game Reserve. The second itinerary focused on the Kruger region. The Panorama Route featured prominently in this journey.
The third route explored KwaZulu-Natal extensively. It began in Durban and covered historic battlefields. Isandlwana and Rorke’s Drift were important stops. The Lebombo Mountains and Lake Jozini followed. Mfulawozi Reserve completed this off-the-beaten-track experience.

Reunion and Knowledge Sharing

All three groups reunited in Johannesburg for the finale. They stayed at Southern Sun Rosebank for two nights. The closing programme included a mini indaba conference. Agents met partners who hosted their trips. Each group shared experiences and insights informally.
A celebratory farewell dinner concluded the programme. Agents gained first-hand knowledge of the destination. This experience helps them create personalized holidays confidently.
