WhatsApp Multi-Account Support Expands on iPhone Users Worldwide
WhatsApp is rolling out its long-awaited WhatsApp Multi-Account feature to more iPhone users. The update allows people to manage multiple accounts within a single app, making communication easier and more convenient. The feature has been one of the most requested additions for iOS users. While WhatsApp started testing it with beta users last year, it is now becoming available through the App Store version of the app.
How the New Feature Works
Users can check if the feature is available by opening WhatsApp and navigating to Settings, then Account. If the “Add Account” option appears, they can begin setting up another account.
The setup process is simple. Users can either register a new phone number or connect an existing account by scanning a QR code. Once completed, both accounts can be managed from the same application.
Switching between accounts is also straightforward. Users only need to visit the Account menu and select the account they want to use. As a result, there is no longer a need to log out and log back in when changing profiles.
A Feature Many iPhone Users Wanted
WhatsApp first introduced multi-account support on other platforms before bringing it to iPhone. Therefore, many iOS users have been waiting for the feature to arrive. The rollout follows WhatsApp’s usual approach. The company often releases new features gradually to ensure stability and performance. Because of this, some users may receive access before others. The update is especially useful for people who separate personal and professional conversations. Instead of carrying multiple devices or using workarounds, users can now manage different accounts from one place.
WhatsApp continues to expand its feature set for iPhone users. While the platform is still working on additional updates, including its upcoming username system, the arrival of WhatsApp Multi-Account support marks a major step forward.
For users who have been waiting to manage multiple profiles more easily, the new feature delivers a simpler and more flexible messaging experience
