Adobe Offers Free AI Tools to Saudi Arabia in $4B Deal

Adobe Offers Free AI Tools to Saudi Arabia in $4B Deal

Adobe will provide free Adobe AI tools Saudi Arabia users through an expanded partnership with the Saudi government. The deal is valued at more than $4 billion.

Adobe announced the agreement with Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. It also involves Humain, a Saudi government-backed artificial intelligence company. More than 27 million eligible citizens and residents could receive 12 months of free access. The offer will include Adobe Firefly Standard and premium features from Adobe Express.

AI Tools Designed for Saudi Users

Adobe will also introduce a new image generation model designed for Saudi culture. Users will create culturally aligned images using Arabic-language prompts.

Adobe and Humain are jointly developing the new model. The companies want to improve AI-powered content creation across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East. The free access will begin rolling out by the end of 2026. Eligible users will gain access without paying for the included subscription services during the first year.

The partnership builds on an agreement announced by the companies in November. That deal focused on developing Arabic content generation tools for regional users.

For Adobe, the expanded partnership could help increase adoption of its AI products. The company faces growing competition from smaller firms in the design software market.

Adobe hopes its AI services can attract more users as businesses and creators increasingly adopt generative tools. The Saudi partnership could provide access to a large potential user base. Humain is also building its role in the region’s growing AI ecosystem. Its involvement could help Adobe develop tools that better understand Arabic language and cultural preferences. The agreement highlights Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in artificial intelligence. The country has increasingly focused on digital technology as part of its broader economic transformation plans. For users, the partnership could make advanced creative AI tools more accessible. It may also encourage more Arabic-language content creation and experimentation with generative AI. The rollout will begin later this year, giving eligible users a new way to explore Adobe’s growing range of AI-powered creative services.
