Karachi University Opens Postgraduate Admissions for 2026

Karachi University Admissions for postgraduate programs have officially opened for the 2026 academic session. The University of Karachi (KU) announced the admission schedule and important dates for applicants. Students can download the admission prospectus, entrance test form, and fee voucher from the university’s official website between June 29 and July 8. Therefore, applicants should complete the process before the deadline to avoid delays.

Admission Schedule and Important Dates

According to Director of the Postgraduate Admission Committee, Prof. Dr. Anila Amber Malik, applicants must download the required documents online. They should also submit their applications within the announced timeline.
The university will publish the list of eligible candidates on July 20. After that, departments, centers, and institutes will issue admit cards on July 23 and July 24. Students should collect their admit cards before the examination date. In addition, they should carefully review all instructions issued by their respective departments.

Entrance Test on July 26

The Karachi University Admissions process includes an entrance test for eligible candidates. The university will conduct the examination on July 26 at 10 a.m. Candidates should arrive at their assigned examination centers on time and carry their admit cards.
The university plans to announce the entrance test results on August 2. Successful candidates can then proceed with the remaining admission formalities according to the university’s schedule. Furthermore, KU has advised applicants to regularly visit its official website for updates or changes to the admission process.
