PMDC Completes MDCAT Registration as UHS Finalises Test Arrangements

PMDC MDCAT registration has been completed, paving the way for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) scheduled for August 16. The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) confirmed that universities in all four provinces will conduct the examination. Meanwhile, the University of Health Sciences (UHS) has accelerated preparations to ensure the test is held smoothly and transparently. Thousands of aspiring medical and dental students are expected to appear in the nationwide examination.

UHS Finalises Preparations for MDCAT

The University of Health Sciences has started final arrangements for conducting the MDCAT in Punjab. Officials are completing administrative and logistical preparations to ensure a fair and well-organised examination process. The university will coordinate with relevant authorities to facilitate candidates and maintain examination standards.
In addition, UHS plans to implement strict monitoring measures at examination centres. These steps aim to ensure transparency and provide equal opportunities for all candidates. Authorities also expect the arrangements to help the examination proceed without disruptions.

Punjab Candidates to Appear in Province

The PMDC announced that candidates holding a Punjab domicile will take the MDCAT within the province. This arrangement will help streamline the examination process and make it easier for students to reach their assigned centres.
Furthermore, universities across Pakistan will conduct the MDCAT under the supervision of the PMDC. The council aims to maintain uniform standards and ensure fairness throughout the examination. Students are advised to stay updated through official announcements regarding examination centres, reporting times, and other important instructions.
The MDCAT serves as the mandatory entrance test for admission to public and private medical and dental colleges across Pakistan. Therefore, candidates should complete their preparations, review official guidelines, and follow all examination instructions to avoid inconvenience on test day.
