Sindh AI Summer Camp Launches Free Technology Training for Students
The Sindh AI Summer Camp will offer free Artificial Intelligence training to students across the province during the upcoming summer holidays. Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nihal Hashmi announced the initiative at a press conference held at the Governor’s House in Karachi on Tuesday. The program aims to equip students with practical technology skills and prepare them for the challenges of an increasingly digital world. As a result, thousands of young learners will have an opportunity to gain knowledge in one of the fastest-growing fields.
Free AI Training to Build Future Skills
Speaking at the event, Governor Hashmi said students would receive hands-on AI training without paying any fee. He explained that children who already know how to use a mobile phone can easily begin learning Artificial Intelligence with proper guidance. Therefore, the initiative will make advanced technology education more accessible to students from different backgrounds.
The governor stressed that early exposure to technology is no longer optional. Instead, it has become essential for success in today’s competitive environment. He noted that developed countries invest heavily in education, research, and skills development from a young age. Consequently, they continue to lead in innovation and economic growth.
Hashmi also said countries making progress today connect their youth with technology and innovation early in life. According to him, Pakistan must adopt the same approach to remain competitive in the future. In addition, he emphasized that the goal is not only to create job seekers but also to develop opportunity creators.
Registration Open Across Sindh
Minister of State and Prime Minister’s Special Assistant Fahad Haroon, Daniyal Nagori, and other prominent personalities attended the event. They welcomed the initiative and highlighted the importance of digital education for young people.
Daniyal Nagori informed participants that students can register online through the official Governor Sindh website. He said the program aims to nurture a generation of entrepreneurs capable of creating employment opportunities for others. Furthermore, organizers hope the camp will encourage innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Students interested in joining the summer camp can complete their registration online. Participation is completely free, ensuring that more young people can benefit from this learning opportunity.
